Combate Americas’ “La Jaula Girl” Ally tells us her favorite home exercises.
This is a great, easy-to-do exercise.
It tones and strengthens the glutes, as well as the shoulders (make sure to keep your body stable during this movement).
Tip: Keep your back straight, your abdomen tight and your head pointing down.
Side Leg Raises
This is exercise consists of lifting your leg with a lateral movement and can be done standing or lying down.
This exercise strengthens the abdominal muscles.
Tip: Raise the stretched leg to a 45 degree angle off the ground, then hold on for a few seconds and lower again.
This popular exercise allows you to increase your muscle mass, develop flexibility, harden your buttocks and also help you burn calories.
Tip: Technique is important here, to avoid injury. So keep your back in neutral position with your knees centered over your feet. This will also help you improve posture.
Stand Up Crunches
They work the entire abdominal region and are quite effective.
They can improve your body balance, reduce back pain and improve your posture.
Tip: Perform this exercise calmly, controlling movements and breathing. Avoid sudden movements.
