BIO

Oscar got the nickname “Jacare” (alligator) when he was a young boy doing Capoeira at just eight years old. His coach would call him that because of his green eyes. Oscar always planned to get into MMA, as his dad was a professional fighter and he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. He grew up watching and admiring former PRIDE FC champion Wanderlei Silva, who was known for his aggression and action-packed fights. Oscar would like to one day become the best fighter in his weight class and perhaps the world.

Oscar is fortunate that his father was a fighter because everyone in his family is already used to cage fighting. He has the unconditional support of his loved ones and likes the idea of competing for a Hispanic-based promotion because it honors his heritage. He feels very blessed to be representing Spain and wants to show the rest of the world the caliber of fighter that comes from his part of the globe. His only job at the moment is being a full-time fighter, which Oscar calls a dream come true.
