Ten years ago he had no clue what Mixed Martial Arts were, because back then in Sinaloa (Mexico), it was not possible to follow these foreign sports regularly.

Then he moves to Tijuana and hears of MMA for the first time. Eduardo says that it was something weird, destiny, because he was always a sports guy, but he never thought that he could try to turn pro on any discipline.

Later, he was working and training, taking amateur fights, until his friend and MMA superstar Henry Briones found him his pro fight. Eduardo reported a “sick day” to absent at work and go fight.
