•MMA superstar Dominick Cruz was his first ever wrestling coach
When he was wrestling in Tucson, he was talking with some girls before practice. Once his coach got
in the gym, he ran inside so he didn’t get caught. Unfortunately his teammates saw him and told the
coach, who instantly started calling him “The Golden Boy”. By the way, Andy went to homecoming
with one of those girls.
He was a wrestler and his wrestling coach at the time was Dominick Cruz. He was always mad and he
told him to try this new sport (MMA). Andy loved to watch Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture, he was
already a fan.
When he got out of Highschool he got fat but wanted a girl to like her, she told him “You’re cute, I
would date you but you are too fat”. He immediately signed up at an MMA and there’s where all
He feels thankful with God for having a new opportunity to fight in Combate Americas in Tucson. He
didn’t performed well in his first Combate fight one year ago, where he got mauled by Victor Reyna.
That fight made him learn and he is 3-2 since that moment.
