LOS ANGELES – April 23, 2019 – Combate Americas announced today the complete 10-bout lineup for its much-anticipated “Cricket Wireless Presents Combate Americas: Reinas” Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) extravaganza that will take place at Galen Center on Friday, April 26. It will mark the first time in history that an all-women’s lineup airs live on broadcast television.

“Cricket Wireless Presents Combate Americas: Reinas” airs live on television in Spanish in the U.S. on Univision (12 a.m. ET/PT) and UDN (12 a.m. ET/9 p.m. PT), and in English in the U.S. and Canada on DAZN (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT).

As previously announced, the show will be headlined by the strawweight (115 pounds) showdown between undefeated, 21-year-old sensation Melissa “Super Mely” Martinez (5-0) of Mexico City, Mex. and fellow rising star, 22-year-old Caroline “Taz” Gallardo (3-2) of Chicago, IL via Santiago, Chile.

A new strawweight (115 pounds) matchup was announced today between Kyra “Mogwai” Batara (7-4) and Francis “Hitgirl” Hernandez (3-3).

Batara of Las Vegas, NV was originally slated to square off with Angela “Your Majesty” Magaña (11-10), but Magaña was forced to withdraw due to a back injury.

Hernandez of Little Rock, AR via Camuy, Puerto Rico was originally scheduled to fight Charisa Sigala (4-0). However, Sigala has been re-scheduled to compete on the Combate Americas fight card in Stockton, CA on Friday, May 10.

Combate Americas also announced a preliminary bout between featherweight (145 pounds) fighters Jesse Strader (3-1) of Palmdale, CA and Michael Jackson (1-3) of Hawthorne, CA, as well as two amateur women’s matchups – a 120 pound catchweight fight between Destiny Vazquez (0-0) of Antelope Valley, CA and Sidney Trillo (2-1) of Santa Ana, CA, and a bantamweight (135 pounds) match between Nancy Nava (0-0) of Palmdale and Lucero Acosta (0-0) of El Centro, CA.
