Combate Americas continues to build the best women's atomweight division in the world, by having a new acquisition and presenting an interesting bout in Ventura, California.

California girl Sheila Padilla (2-1) will be entering "La Jaula" of Combate Americas for the first time, when she faces one of the most exciting prospects in the promotion, Alyssa "Tiny Tim" Garcia (3-2).

Padilla comes from a loss against Keri Anne Taylor-Melendez in Bellator MMA, this being her first and only defeat in her career. The Woodlake native will try to recover her confidence and getting back on track with a win.

Another argument that Padilla will be seeking in her debut, is her first finish, because her only two victories, have come via decision. If there's something valuable to Combate Americas, is action, so knocking out or achieving a submission, is the main focus of this fighter.

On the other hand, after having a negative record of 1-2 in 2015, Alyssa García managed to earn a winning streak, by defeating Kanna Asakura in Japan and grabbing the victory against Kaiyana Rain in her Combate America's debut.

Getting ready and training alongside her coach Josh Barnett, the Whittier native will try to get all of her weapons ready, and make wrestling the main argument to get a victory against Sheilla Padilla.

Combate 14 will be celebrated next May 5th in Ventura, California. And will be broadcasted by Azteca America in the United States and ESPN Latinamerica.
