Combate Americas keeps betting on the best rising talent available to build up their roster.

The nonstop action in "la jaula", is the most important aspect of the promotion, so young fighters will always put on a great show in order to develop themselves and one day become champions.

The Combate 12 event will feature an interesting bout, when Nate Diaz's pupil Christian Giovannie (1-0), will take on Angel Gonzalez (0-0). The fight will have two 23-year-old fighters willing to leave everything in "la jaula".

Gonzalez will make his professional debut in one of the biggest stages in the MMA world, so he needs to be stunning, because as the promotion's president Alberto Rodriguez said before, Combate Americas is all about being spectacular.

"I like to be spectacular, and in my fight, I show my standup striking, but I'm also good when I do my ground game, that makes me a complete fighter", Gonzalez stated. "I have a rising talent and I will show the fight of my life".

Giovannie is a top lever wrestler who has been doing a great fight camp. If his natural talent gets mixed up with his coach's teachings, he could give Gonzalez a rough night in Tijuana.

For putting a great show and winning with a stunning performance, hard training is required. No problem for Gonzalez, who considers he's doing it all "sweat and tears" in order to get the "W".

"I'm getting well prepared, four hours of training in the morning and then three more hours in the afternoon. We need to stay ready when the day comes", Gonzalez commented. "There's no better strategy to win than train your ass off".

At the end, sports are all about winning, and that's the only thing Gonzalez has in mind. "I would like to have a great win, but if the fight goes to distance, I'm also ready for that. The thing here is winning, doesn't matter how".

Combate 12 will be held next March 30th in the Tijuana Auditorium (Mexico), and broadcasted by Azteca America in the United States, ESPN Deportes in Latin-America (10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT) and UFC Fight Pass (8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT).
